GROW 12th Annual Co-Ed Golf Scramble: Laurel Springs Golf Club | Monday July 28, 2025
1.) Question: What is GROW?
Answer: GROW (Golfers Recognizing Opportunities for Women), founded in 2007, is a non-profit organization with the mission of nurturing personal and professional growth opportunities for women through a shared interest for golf.
2.) Question: Why is the tournament being held on a weekday?
Answer: The objective of GROW is to encourage women to play golf for business reasons. Recognizing golf as a business sport fosters engagement with clients, co-workers, business partners, etc. As the saying goes, a bad day on the golf course beats a good day in the office.
3.) Question: Why is there a requirement for every team to have at least one-woman player?
Answer: We’re growing the game. Women are underrepresented on the golf course. The tournament is co-ed and participants support that initiative.
4.) Question: What do proceeds from the tournament benefit?
Answer: We offer programming through our efforts, and the tournament is our signature event that funds GROW Girl, GROW Collegiate and GROW Scholars.
5.) Question: This is your 12th Annual, why have I not heard of it before?
Answer: Most of our tournaments are hosted in Nashville where GROW was founded. This is our second “Atlanta edition”.
